    Following the opening of our new mental health inpatient building, Blossom Court, at St Ann’s Hospital in Haringey in summer 2020, work has progressed on refurbishing the rest of the site which is being retained by the Trust.

    Mebrak Ghebrehiwet, a nurse in the BEH Eating Disorders Service, wins the top prize in the Health Hero Awards

    Mebrak, who qualified as a nurse just four years ago, was congratulated by the Prime Minister for her 'heroic' work in transforming care for patients with eating disorders. She was nominated by Daily Mail readers for her efforts to help patients during the pandemic.

    Helping everyone to get timely mental health care and support

    To mark World Mental Health Day, NHS mental health trusts in North Central London re-affirm their commitment to work with communities to make sure everyone can get more timely help and support. The theme of this year’s World Mental Health Day is ‘Mental Health in an Unequal World’. Over the next three years, we’re investing millions of pounds and recruiting hundreds of frontline workers to expand services to make sure everyone in our community can get timely help and support with mental health challenges.

They are now available for purchase on Amazon and the money raised will go to purchase more books for the CAMH service at BEH.

    At BEH we are pleased to offer Occupational Therapy (OT) apprenticeships in partnership with the University of Hertfordshire.

    Today we would like to introduce you to Karolina Maslanka who will start the programme in September 2021. She currently works as an Associate Mental Health Worker at St Ann's Eating Disorders Day Programme.

    Girls and boys aged 12 to 13 years are offered the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine as part of the NHS vaccination program.

    The HPV vaccine helps protect against cancers caused by high risk strains of HPV.
