We use Attend Anywhere, a video consultation appointment service, meaning you can connect with your health professional via video call.
Attend Anywhere is a web-based, secure NHS video call service for patients with pre-arranged appointment times.
Accessing video consultations
You can use the Attend Anywhere platform on any Personal Computer, Mac or iPhone/iPad/Android device, using Google Chrome (for Personal Computers/Mac/Android devices) or Safari internet browser (For iPhones/iPad devices and Macs).
If you are due to have a video consultation with us, we will schedule your appointment as normal and send you the details of your appointment’s date and time.
How to use Attend Anywhere
If you are using the video consultations for the first time we would recommend watching this video which will give you an idea of how your video consultation will work.
You may also need to activate you camera and microphone on your device to work with your browser. For iPhone users, go to settings > Safari > Allow camera and mic.
On the date and time of your appointment you will be able to enter your clinic via the ‘Start a video call’ button. It is a good idea to enter the waiting room a few minutes early.
We also recommend you test your equipment before starting the call. You can do this by clicking on the ‘Test call’ button once you’ve clicked on the relevant Waiting Room link below.
The video call is free (except your internet usage charge). Data is not used while you are in the waiting room.
Please note: Only those who have a scheduled appointment should enter the Waiting Room. You will not be seen if you do not have an appointment.
When entering the Waiting Room, please ensure you complete all details including your date of birth, you may also enter your phone number so that we can call you back if there are any difficulties.
Personal details that you enter at the start of video consultation will be deleted at the end of the call. Attend Anywhere is completely confidential and secure. The calls cannot be accessed by anyone else.
