Who we are

Health Visitors and School Nurses who have undertaken additional training to assess the health needs of children and young people who are cared for by the Local Authority.

What we offer

The service aims to improve the health and life chances of Enfield’s Looked after Children aged 0-19 yrs by providing a holistic approach to health care assessments. The service also contributes to the strategic planning of local delivery plans, designed to raise the profile of children and young people within the social care system.

Who is the service for

Children and young people who are looked after by the Local Authority in Enfield and those placed in other Boroughs by Enfield Local Authority within a twenty mile radius.

How you can access our service

This service is for children and young people in care, referrals can be made by children and young people themselves, their carers or by other health professionals.
